A two-point perspective drawing portraying a ballet pointe shoe and Bharatanatyam (classical Indian dance) ghungroo (ankle bells) being tied together on the wet shore in between the soft, light sand and the strong, large ocean waves with a mirror sunken into the shore. This drawing, taking place at Tybee Beach, represents my identity struggle as an Indian-American girl, metaphorically demonstrated through the clashing Eastern and Western forms of dance.
